Hughes Cast Stone ,Inc was founded in 1983 by Eddy W. Hughes, and then known as Hughes Martin Cast Stone , LLC
In the first 5 years the company grew very fast, as in 1989 it was ranked as the fasted growing Cast stone company in the Inc. 500 magazine and #123rd fastest growing company overall.

| A stone mason by trade, Eddy W Hughes attended college with an Art major and a Business minor. He gained general knowledge of cast stone while working as manager at Luck Stone early in 1983, until he started Hughes Masonry in October of the same year.
It was an easy change to go from installing brick and stone to manufacturing cast stone. This is the reason of Hughes’s experience as a mason. Hughes Cast Stone has the added benefit of not only knowing how to manufacture cast stone and all of its intricacies, but knows the entire installation process as well, which means he can better aid the masons who purchase cast stone from Hughes Martin.

In August of 2006 Martin Randy Taborga joined forces with Eddy Hughes and the company is now known as Hughes Martin Cast Stone. This partnership has really benefited the cast stone industry. Martin has been building custom homes and doing home improvements for 13 years in Northern Virginia. His knowledge of the construction industry has really added to the ever growing succes of the company.
Martin Taborga’s Hispanic background has given the company the great opportunity to add a bilingual department (English and Spanish). This department can better serve the Hispanic stone masons and brick layers in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland areas.

FUTURE PROJECTS
Hughes Martin Cast Stone LLC , also has a patent pending idea in the process. It’s called Fast Stone. (retaining wall precast panels) We are eagerly awaiting the acceptance of this product. Look for it soon to be in your area.
